When the valve body itself has failed, we reach it through the smallest access opening the job allows, and we tell you before we start if that means cutting the wall. Patching the tile or surround afterward is a separate finishing trade, and we will point you to it. And if the temperature problem traces back to the water heater instead, we will say so.

The tub and shower work we handle

Here is where we draw the line, because it saves you a wasted visit. We fix the plumbing: tub and shower faucets, cartridges and valves, spouts and diverters, drains and overflow assemblies, and any leak behind or below the fixture. What we do not do is install or replace the tub, the shower, or the tile surround, and we do not take on tile or subfloor work. If you are putting in a new tub or shower, a bath remodeler handles the unit, and we plumb the connections once it is set.

Can you fix a dripping showerhead without breaking the tile?

Usually, yes. Most drips come from worn seals or the cartridge inside the handle, and we can replace those through the existing opening. Opening tile only comes up when the valve body itself has failed.

Why is my shower pressure low?

Start with the showerhead: mineral scale from our region’s hard water clogs spray holes and restricts flow. If pressure is weak at every fixture in the house, the cause is bigger, often a failing pressure reducing valve, and that is a different repair we also handle.

Do you install or replace bathtubs and showers?
